GLSL Youth Cup Info:
The Cup consists of games on the Saturday and Sunday, and sometimes the size of the competition requires some games to be scheduled on the Thursday night (and sometimes Friday night) prior to the weekend.
Seeding of teams for the Cup is based on the League standings at middle of July.
The first round of the Cup is a round-robin, with the top teams advancing to a single-knockout elimination format. With different numbers of teams in each division there is no single format used across all divisions, however, we ensure that every team will play at least two games.
Grassroots Soccer Festival Info:
The Festival consists of two or three games on the Saturday or Sunday depending upon field availability. In a Festival, teams will play their games, there is no standings recorded, no eliminations or championship.
Each player will be given a memento from the GLSL, which will be provided to the coach to pass on to each player.
